Producing Video Files
This section describes how to successfully create quality video clips.
RealProducer includes a number of simple wizards to guide you step-by-step through the recording process. These recording wizards are specifically designed to:
Recording from Media Devices.
This option allow you to capture a media clip from a media devise such as Microphone, PC Camera, CD Player, or VCR to your computer.
Before you begin the recording session, make sure that your media device is properly connected and is working
correctly.
Capture Video
To make a video capture, you should have a video camera connected to your computer. The process of setting record parameters for video capturing is similar with the audio one.
To record a video file from the camera you should follow the next instructions:
1. Start RealProducer. In the "New Session - Choose Recording Wizard" window choose "Record From Media Device" and press OK. You also can start new session wizard if you go File » New Session...(If the wizards are disabled, you can select File>Recording Wizards>Record From Media Device).
2. Choose Capture Audio and Capture Video and press the Next button. Fill the "RealMedia Clip Information" form, press Next button.
3. Choose Single-rate for Web Servers if you are going to publish your audio on the standard web server or listen it from your computer or CD. If you you publish the audio file on a special server (RealServer), which can play streaming RealAudio and Video files, than choose Multi-rate SureStream option, and press next. To make the first step in exploring of RealProducer choose the Single-rate format item.
4.In the next window choose the speed of connection, which will be used to excess the file, and press Next.
5. Choose appropriate audio format and press Next. On the next menu press Save As and choose the name of the file and destination where you want to save you audio file. Press Next. On the next menu press Finish.

Now you fill all the necessary parameters of creating audio and ready do produce it.
6. Take a microphone and click the Start button in the Recording Controls section of the RealProducer window to start recording.
7. If the menu below papered on your screen than you had left blank fields in the Clip Information section. You can fill these fields or just click the NO button. Recording has been started.
8. When you have finished the recording, press the Stop button in the Recording Controls section. Press Yes on the question if "you are sure that you want to stop encoding
9. Press Close in the "Processing Complete" menu.
