INTRODUCTION
K-12 teachers will be trained to use VRML modules and
related technologies to provide highly interactive learning environments where
student-learning activities are computer-based. Approximately 20 teachers will participate in the training,
resulting in the creation of 40 to 60 learning activities.
All learning activities, training materials, and a description of the
design process will be made available through the Virtual Learning Resource Bank
(http://teach.valdosta.edu/teachingtechnology) and accessible to educators
statewide.
Each attendee will:
-
Attend the three days of workshops.
-
-
All teachers will implement their learning activities.
Evaluation of implementation and student learning will take place at
the school. If timing does not permit you to
implement the learning activity, you will develop 2 other learning
activities in lieu of the implementation and evaluation components.
-
All teachers will provide feedback
about the implementation.
-
All teachers will train 2 other teachers to
use the technology. Those 2 teachers will develop one learning activity.
