Elementary
Spanish Curriculum. Instruction
in grades K-8 introduces students to the pronunciation and intonation patterns,
the basic grammatical structures and vocabulary of the Spanish developing
elementary listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The purpose of this
guide is to prepare students to compete and cooperate in the international
arena; to promote multi-cultural understanding; and to build intellectual
achievement because a language cannot be separated from its culture.
Daily
Learning Activities, prepared by the Ontario Ministry of Education and
Training for parents and caregivers, is a collection of eleven packages of
learning materials that can complement any language arts curriculum in grades
1-8.

occasionally to see what's new.
