Technology & Learning Continuum Model

Dr. Art Recesso has been developing the Technology and Learning Continuum Model for several years. He defined a need for the model after several years of working closely with K-12 teachers to integrate technology and learning standards into their classrooms. He has utilized the model to deliver preservice and inservice teacher trainings. His book on the model is forthcoming.
Ms. Debbie Summers-Walsh has field tested the model with preservice and inservice teachers and is credited with assisting with the design of the training materials and the training outline.
Dr. Lorraine Schmertzing has field tested the model with inservice teachers, assisted with the development of training materials, and has contributed to formatting. Dr. Schmertzing has lead an important effort to bring the learning units online and visit the classrooms to see teacher implementation of their work.
Dr. Marti Venn is field testing the model with her special education courses. She is also contributing to the model's application for assistive technology training.
Ms. Kim Hartsell, Project Director of the Georgia Project for Assistive Technology is collaborating with Dr. Venn and Dr. Recesso to utilize the model for assistive technology training.
Dr. Catherine Price has provide valuable feedback about the model, the materials developed to support the training, and materials to be included in the forthcoming text.
