VRML Project
Training K-12 Teachers to use VRML in the classroom
You do not need to know anything about VRML to participate in this training! We only expect that you will be familiar with a computer, the Internet, and have access to a computer in your classroom. You will not create VRML modules during this training, but learn to use pre-existing VRML modules in your classroom.
The term Web3d describes any programming or descriptive language that can be used to deliver interactive 3D objects and worlds across the internet. This includes open languages such as Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML), Java3D and X3D (under development) - also any proprietary languages that have been developed for the same purpose come under the umbrella of Web3d. The Web3D Repository is an impartial, comprehensive, community resource for the dissemination of information relating to Web3D and is maintained by the Web3D Consortium.

http://www.sdsc.edu/pb/Software.htmlCompare3D Download: Compare3D is used to analyze the structure alignment of two or more polypeptide chains. The alignment is provided by the user, and is thus designed as a visual front end to another program. It can be seen in operation from CE a resource that permits you to review and calculate structure alignments.
http://www.sdsc.edu/pb/Software.htmlQuickPDB Try it | View Source | Download | Documentation: QuickPDB permits you to find and quickly review a macromolecular structure looking at interactions between sequence and structure. Typically, once you have located structure(s) of interest you would download then for further analysis using local programs. It is a view option used in the Protein Data Bank (PDB).

Barriers- The Awareness Challenge (Rehabilitation Sciences Virtual Reality Lab )
VRML97 This program uses 3-D computer graphics to depict a virtual grade school. The goal of the program is to teach school children (and their teachers) without a disability, about the structural and attitudinal barriers faced by their peers with mobility limitations. Sitting in a virtual wheelchair, you will be prompted to search different areas of the school and identify both building and bad attitude . Our field testing has shown that the program is effective for increasing the knowledge of barriers for children in grades 4-6.
